The purpose of the Bergenfield Barrier Free Committee is to address the needs in the community for persons with disabilities and to advise the Mayor and Council on compliance to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

This committee meets on the last Tuesday of the month at 10:45 a.m. in the council chamber room at the Borough Hall to discuss issues affecting residents with disabilities and explore solutions.  We encourage all residents, especially families, caregivers, and anyone with special interest, to attend our meetings and offer input to address the needs and concerns of Bergenfield’s disabled community.
